FERPA-aligned by design

Scholar Spark treats transcripts as education records. We built the product against the standards schools expect under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA):

  • Students (or parents of minors) own and control their record.
  • We do not sell student data or use it to train third-party models.
  • Data is only shared with a person the account holder explicitly invites.
  • Schools using Scholar Spark under a contract sign a data protection addendum.
